We have had a presence at Programmatic Pioneers before but chose to sponsor in 2022 as it was the perfect opportunity to connect with our UK audience, after acquiring a company here in London. We are a Spanish company, and our headquarters are in Spain, but we are expanding globally. Sponsoring PPS has given us a chance to boost our brand awareness, be put in the room with the right audience and explain our services.

Whilst being here, we have met not only have programmatic specialists, but more high-level delegates too. For example, the detail manager, or head of department. That has been amazing for us to be able to meet senior delegates, to not only sell our programmatic services but expand our books on technology.

We had a case study session yesterday, which went incredibly well, the room was full. We were apprehensive as we are a new company to the UK and didn’t attend with existing clients here. However, our session was very well attended and even after, people stopped by our booth to ask questions and have a chat with us, which was great.

This helped the conversation flow, as we were already further down the line. They already knew who we were and wanted to find out more about our services and topics we discussed during the session. We also attended other sessions ourselves, which 100% helped start conversations with delegates/speakers, and it was interesting to hear new information.

One of the features of the conference we thought was particularly useful was the onsite app. It's the first time we've seen something like this, and we've been to thousands of events. It was amazing because you could directly reach out to the people you are interested in meeting. It gave us the ability to find out their title and picture – so we knew exactly who we were looking for.

We also utilized LinkedIn, sharing posts, interacting with the PPS company page with likes, comments and shares. It was great to share images and show our following where we were, as well as helping make new connections during the event.

It will definitely be important for us to have a presence at PPS in the future, in our eyes being represented at these events is the only way to meet new people, companies and opportunities. Sponsoring PPS will have a positive impact on our 2022 business goals, as we are quite a large company, and some of the contacts we have made here are open to working with us in other countries also. This was a great approach for them to know that we can provide services in not only the UK, but also in Spain, Italy or France.
