I have accumulated over twenty years of experience in the digital advertising industry, starting my career at VNU during the early stages of advertising. Throughout my professional journey, I have acquired valuable knowledge and expertise by working across different aspects of the industry, including client management, technology, publishing, and agency operations. This diverse experience has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the entire advertising journey cycle. Currently, I am employed at the Rail Delivery Group, where I play a crucial role in ensuring the success of The National Rail website. My main focus is on achieving our revenue goals while maintaining an exceptional customer experience. The website, nationalrail.co.uk, serves as the primary platform for customer information regarding National Rail passenger services in England, Scotland, and Wales. It offers a wide range of features, including journey planning, real-time updates, ticket and fare details, as well as various rail-related information. On a daily basis, we handle an average of 2.5 million journey planning inquiries through our website, apps, and contact center. In addition to my responsibilities at work, I actively participate in various digital communities, where I advocate for and educate myself and others on topics like Equity, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, and also take pleasure as being a seen ally and mentor.
